沖縄をもっと知ろう　「むーちー　くわっちーさびら」イベント

沖縄の冬の風物詩「むーちー（鬼餅）の日」は旧暦の１２月８日です。今年は１月１８日。 さんにん（月桃）の葉に包んだ「むーちー」を各家庭で作り、仏壇に供えて家族の健康祈願と厄払いをする日です。 ２０２４年１月２０日（土）１６時頃むーちー試食会をデポアイランド海側遊歩道ボードウォークで行います。 ぜひ味見をして沖縄文化を感じてください。

Okinawa’s winter tradition “Muchi (Demon Mochi) Day” is December 8th of the lunar calendar. This year it is January 18th. On this day, each family makes “muchi” wrapped in sannin leaves and offers it to the Buddhist altar to pray for the health of the family and ward off evil spirits. A Muchi tasting event will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at around 16:00 on the Depot Island seaside promenade boardwalk. Please try it and feel the Okinawan culture.
